Your pictures are so inspirational!!! Prior to now, I have never really been the work out type because I was real skinny most of my life but as we know with age and after children things can change. I always start working out but when there is a lack of visible results within a certain about of time I get discouraged and usual quit all together until the next time I muster up the courage. By this time I'm having to start all over again. I guess I'm wanting a few tips on how to stay motivated
Thank you for the compliment
Everyone body isn’t the same. You have to stop giving up on yourself, you’re not going to see instant results. dont get discouraged. Keep pushing
Hello, I am 280 pounds, when I first started losing I was over 300, I have since plateaud and I am losing motivation. I want to lose another 50 or so by May for graduation. What can I do? My biggest problem is my stomach and sides.
1st you have to get the motivation back and get driven if this is what you want then you shouldn’t give up on yourself so easily. I know at times it gets a little tough but you should have the heart of a fighter.
Continue to WORKOUT go harder than you were. Start TODAY!! No excuses
hi,i recently gained about 30 pounds in the last 7 months due to a stressful relationship where i kind of got comfortable,im thinking of going on weightwatchers what is that?and how can i stop my skin from getting loose when i do lose the weight
I have my own Fitness program sweetie. Im not Weight Watchers.
to shed the pounds and burn the calories you have get more active in your daily life. Get out the “Comfortable” zone. CARDIO is a Must (Walking, Running, Jogging) to Tone up I have tips listed that can help you
You have an amazing body! I more on the thick side (big booty), but have issues with my stomach area and having back fast. what can i do to flaten my stomach and back area but also keeping my booty big and tone?
Cardio try running on the treadmill to keep your buns toned, its also helps building muscle in the core. do crunches after and back extensions
I'm a big individual (200+ lbs) and was told to first lose weight before trying to build muscle/tone up. I agree, I do need to lose weight, probably about 50lbs. I just find myself having a hard time getting the pounds off, especially when my arms flab up, I feel like hitting the bench press or something... I guess my question is, do you have any tips for people like me trying to lose large amounts of weight?
Ok, so my next question is, does 10 lbs a month sound like a realistic goal? I have a horrible time with portion control and what I should and shouldn't eat but i want to make 10 lbs am month my goal & actually achieve it. I'm 250 at 5'5.
It’s a GOAL baby girl, If it was 1lb or 50lbs you have a set goal.
you gotta believe in yourself, YOU CAN DO IT
Push Harder, Do as much cardio as you can make working out, getting healthy and Fit a Passion.
Hey :) My goal is to lose 35 lbs. A big problem area of mine is the fat behind my upper arms (wings :/ ) Should I lift weights in addition to my cardio ? or concentrate on cardio until the weight is gone, then weights ? I dont want to end up lifting and looking like a football player :( thanks
Hi, i'm naturally slim i wanna help define my body and work on my abs.. Most workouts advise cardio exercises but i dont wanna end loosing so much weight if i do.. What would u suggest? P.s. Great blog, very different to tumblrs out here now (Y)
Hey I want to put more weight on my legs and thighs, I've been doing squats and lunges with 20-25kg weights. I was wondering if it would be a good decision to take a protein drink also? and if so do you have any recommendations? Thank you :)
Im not much of a protein shake drinker But I can tell you other ways to build muscles in your legs, keep the routine you have but add
Deadlifts and Calf Raises also Try Running
without weight training your muscles are not stimulated to grow stronger no matter how much protein you consume.
Hi :) okay soo im a teenage girl who plays soccer like 24/7 but for some reason i cant find a way to flatten my stomach! ive been wanting abs for the longest.. is there anything i can do maybe before i sleep or when i wake up? to start devolping the abs
Before bed make a weekly ab routine something basic
Maybe 50 Crunches before bed 50 crunches before you start your day.
I went to the doctor recently and was told that I was doing too much cardio so I wasn't losing any weight. So she told me to walk every day for 30 mins. I use those walking videos that are online to walk do you think they are as effective as a treadmill or walking in your neighborhood? Now that the weight is slowly coming off at what point should I worry about strength training to avoid a massive amount of loose skin? And what exercises should I do for strength training?
There is NEVER too much cardio sweetie. When you use the treadmill be sure to Incline, Burn your calories, get that heart rate pumping and build muscles. When you get to your target weight thats when you should start doing Strengthening exercises.
HEy Nic. 1. Where do you get your motivation to workout? 2. What are some tips you will give a morbidly obese 24 yr old. I was trying to learn how to control my eating but I fail at that part. 3. Do you work out every day?
Hello, My Motivation comes from people like yourself.
I suggest you do A lot of Cardio. walking as much as you can, find some time to get to a treadmill. you should try to portion your meals. I train everyday and I also do a Light 30-45min workout.
People ALWAYS ask me. How did you get your Abs like that?
Well this is my secret. I’ve always had ABS Before my Child. I was always active in sports. I would Walk and Run anywhere; that’s great Cardio. When I got pregnant I did the same thing I was even playing basketball (There wasn’t any physical contact), riding on skateboards. I know I know I was such a Tomboy smh. I just kept myself Busy. I was always sick I had the worst pregnancy of my life. Weighing only 127 at 9months delivering 7lb 6oz Healthy Baby Boy was a miracle. I even had to keep a water bottle for my saliva, sounds degusting right How did I do it?
After giving Birth I BREASTFED. For 2 whole years YES, 2 years. probably sounds like a very long time to some. I’m notsaying that you should do it for that long but I will say you should try it and see how healthy it makes your child immune system.
Breastfed infants have fewer episodes of illness
Breastfeeding delays the onset of hereditary allergic disease, and lowers the risk of developing allergic disease
Breastfeeding helps the baby’s immune system to mature, protecting the baby from viral, bacteria and parasitic infections
Just a list of some of the reason why Breasfeeding is a Healthy choice for your Child and Here is a Reason why Breastfeeding Helps you Ladies
Breastfeeding is not just the best option for your baby, it’s also one of the most effective ways to shed you pregnancy weight and get yourself back into shape. Not only does breastfeeding burn up to 500 calories a day, it also stimulates the production on oxytocin, a hormone which causes the uterus to contract and eventually start to strink back to normal. Breastfeeding helps tighten the muscles.
